Dr. Carolyn Saari was editor of the Clinical Social Work Journal and is a professor of social work at Loyola University, Chicago. She holds an undergraduate degree from Vassar College, a masters’s from Simmons College, and a doctorate from the Smith College School for Social Work. Her clinical practice includes work at the Yale Psychiatric Institute and Family Service of Philadelphia, as well as a current private practice. Her current book is entitled The Creation of Meaning in Clinical Social Work.
